Spotting @ KAGC - unusual finds

Postby Roughrider » Thu Oct 09, 2008 11:50 am

Had a cance to go with Matt while he had a flying lesson, so I took the camera, here are some planes you don't usually see at KAGC. Can you name the last 2?

Lovely shots. I think the last one is the Extra 400.*

*PS. I didn't cheat but I notice it's written on the fuselage. :P

Second to last is a G100. Kinda like a less-noisy Sabreliner. :)

Ah, you looked up the registration. From what it says on that page N400EX has multiple records. This means that the registration has been issued before. Apparently for a Gates Learjet 35A. This was cancelled in 1992.

This couldn't happen with a UK registered aircraft as CAA registrations are only issued once.

No Doug, I am talking about its a Extra 400 Flugzeugbau, or is Flugzeugbau, German for Airplane?   ;D

I believe it's German for Aircraft company. ;)

The second is a G-100 or an IAI Astra.  (Same airplane, different name)
