. To add to the frustration, as I was getting on the bus in Chippenham a lovely sand camouflaged Herk was circling overhead.....unfortunately it had scarpered before I arrived 
However, after two hours of boredom, in which the only movement was my nemesis, G-VICC, the herks came out to play, with what seemed like half the J fleet leaving in quick succession (many of them didn't come back before I had left). However a couple of Js and a K went into some circuit bashing. Better still, the wind had subsided and was blowing right down the most convenient runway, and the sun was starting to appear

Aswell as the RAF's finest there were a couple of special visitors which are for another thread
