
A pretty snazzy panel in this Bird; I'll bet most originally came with a spring-tab ASI out on the wing strut, a wet compass, engine instruments, and maybe an altimeter.
Someday I'd love to build a Pitenpol Air Camper... not sure when this one was built, but the plans were first made available in 1932, and this one has the intended powerplant: a Ford Model T engine. Love the wacky "period" graphics on this one...

BTW, that is a rare Taylor E-2 Cub in the background... we'll have a closer look at it later.
