Because when I had that idea... I was in Leiden...when I got home I didn't see much flying anymore![]()

Yep. As with their sister the F100 and cousin the BAe-146, they leave the airbrakes out well before touchdown.

Ah, i wasnt aware of that, but i suppose it never is for a really long time then? Since it slows the plane down quite a bit.
