Man ,This is unveliabable  :o M A Y B E (you both) were in the same place ,the same day , the same hours ,you took the shot, other guy saw your taking it and say I'll take one for me too and he stand the way you were and took it, or everything vice versa  ::)

Other wise no one in this world will convince me that this are two diferent cars and two diferent places..is the same photo

Of course it was the same car in the same place. It's a large exhibition with many people attending, so it's bound to happen.

Stand with someone at an airshow, and see how many identical photos you take of the flying display.

In the case of photos printed in a newspaper or magazine this would be very difficult to prove. Craig's photo is a good example & I think we've established beyond any doubt that the photo in the Sun isn't his.

Piracy is the same with freeware files of any sort. The only way to be certain that nobody will steal them is not to post them on the Internet in the first place. If you want to post your photos but are worried about piracy a big watermark right across the centre of the image should deter most people. Unless it's of exceptional quallity I don't think anyone would go to the trouble of removing it.

Although, if you're posting them at 800 pixels wide, that's all the person has got to work with. If you wanted to go through the trouble, you could surely prove that the image is yours by providing the raw photograph, with EXIF data and all. But of course, that's only if the image used is 100% definitely yours.

That is not the problem. What I meant was proving that a photo printed in a newspaper or magazine is definitely yours. I would say that's virtually impossible.

Sorry to say it's not your photo Craig - look at the position of the sign on the wall relative to bottom of the windscreen on the black Aston:

Cheers,

TSC.

That's a great catch. You've got an excellent eye.
