In Scotland, not good.

It is not known whether the pilot and navigator were able to eject safely. No civilians are thought to have been hurt in the crash.

:(

Update at 17:21
Two RAF air crew have been killed after a Tornado jet crashed during a training flight in Argyll.

Very sad, condolences to the airmen & their families.

The name of the glen is quite ironic.

Sadly Charlie, he will not be the last one. The odds of more of that half your intake being alive when you retire are not good. During my time, I was in HMF at a well known station on the A1. Out post major test pilot was the last of his entry still alive. Never seen a man so thorougher in his work!! You have my thoughts.

1. Captain, if the problem is not entered into the technical logbook.........then the aircraft does not have a problem.
2. And, if you have time to write the fault on a napkin and attach to it to the yoke.........you have time to write it in the tech log....see point 1.
