The term "passengers" I think has to be taken in the loosest possible meaning. If hacker that
could do this, then he will have to be able to do it in front of an audience and distract them into thinking that he is surfing, spread sheeting or similar I would have though. With todays nosey passengers and a heightened sense of security, if an Arab cannot walk to the toilet with a toothbrush in his hand without being accosted a hacker trying to fly the aircraft from his laptop would have to be really good.

2. And, if you have time to write the fault on a napkin and attach to it to the yoke.........you have time to write it in the tech log....see point 1.
