It hasn't flown yet. I daresay that if & when it does there will be plenty of news coverage.

Sadly even Sky News Multiscreen is completely dominated by Mrs B...

Hopefully though as doug says, once it goes up, some screen will be given to it for full coverage. BBC is on the hospital bug on their multiscreen ::)
Burritos and bugs, what a day for a first flights.

Let's be realistic about this. Whatever aviation enthusiasts might like to think the first flight of a restored vintage aircraft is a minor event in the general scheme of things.

Depends really. when our money has been spent on this project, and when it is a pretty big thing locally, I dont see how some possibly corrupt politician returning home halfway round the world, deserves any more time than this.

At the risk of getting political, current events in Pakistan could very well affect the stability of that whole part of the world for years to come. This is an international matter & is far more important than flying an antique aeroplane.

Maybe, maybe not. But her playing ringmaster to a media circus doesn't require missing out on our own historic event. The world isn't going to change in the next couple of hours. ;)

I'm just looking at this from Joe Public's point of view. Most people couldn't care less. Unless you contributed directly or do the Lotto not one penny of your money is involved in it.

My feelings on this are no secret & whether it flies today, tomorrow or next week they haven't changed. :P

I personally have given a few quid to it so even if it only paid for their morning coffee, I'd still like to see it fly.

It's time to close the BBC,
then I could save on my license fee...

Was watching it on the telly when it went wheels up, at least Sky showed a bit of it, shame on the BBC who seem more worried about their own job losses rather than other news  ::)

Just seen a replay. Awesome... :)

Hardly surprising as the news service will be one of the hardest hit.

A self proving example... ;D The sooner they scrap the license fee and have the Beeb showing adverts the better - at the moment it's like having adverts anyway. There seem to be a couple of minutes of BBC trailers between programmes now anyway...
