My first question is, was that aircraft designed for Fs2002? I saw that one of you directories was for Fly which is a different simulator program.

After reading your reply, it looks like the aircraft in question was designed for Fly 2. If this is the case it will not work in Fs2002. Planes that were designed for other simulator programs will only work for that program.

Rifleman,
Thanks for your reply, I'm still leaning towards the fact that the P51 download (P51bc_P65A.zip) by ROTW for FlyII will load into FS2002. Apparently my procedure for downloading lacks quite a bit, for some reason, I run into quite a bit of difficulty with downloading, as stated, made several successful downloads & had just as many failures.
So far have been unsuccessful trying to track down a web site for ROTW tto check with them about the download. If anybody can furnish any information about a website for ROTW, I really would appreciate it

If you are installing aircraft files, put them in the aircraft folder. Scenery files to scenery folder, gauges to gauges, sound to sound effects to effects, etc. . always check the readme file that comes with a downloaded file to check for special or normal install instructions.
