Engineers

What are you laughing at?

Engineers

Postby Steve M » Sat Jan 17, 2009 2:01 pm

There are four engineers traveling in a car; a mechanical engineer, a chemical engineer, an electrical engineer and a computer engineer. The car breaks down.

"Sounds to me as if the pistons have seized. We'll have to strip down the engine before we can get the car working again", says the mechanical engineer.

"Well", says the chemical engineer, "it sounded to me as if the fuel might be contaminated. I think we should clear out the fuel system."

"I thought it might be an grounding problem", says the electrical engineer, "or maybe a faulty plug lead."

They all turn to the computer engineer who has said nothing and say: "Well, what do you think?" "Ummm perhaps if we all get out of the car and get back in again?"

For anyone who watches the IT Crowd, just read that last bit with Moss's voice. Lol.

I know science teachers who sometimes give lifts to the teachers of different sciences... I can only imagine that this has happened to them before lol.

1. Captain, if the problem is not entered into the technical logbook.........then the aircraft does not have a problem.
2. And, if you have time to write the fault on a napkin and attach to it to the yoke.........you have time to write it in the tech log....see point 1.

;D ;D ;D Try the Han Solo method. Punch the car a few times. That's how he fixed the Falcon in Empire Strikes Back.

Maybe that's why I keep having trouble -- what type of boots should I use on it and is one pair enough?
