Priority Seating

It was a sell out and tickets were hard to come by but, finally, a cancellation provided this couple to make it to the show. They took their seats and noticed that the lady next to them had an empty seat next to her throughout the show. When time came to leave, the husband just had to ask the lone lady if she knew why the seat next to her was empty.
"It was my husband's," she informed.
"Tickets were difficult to obtain... this was a great show. Why didn't your husband come?"
"He died last week," she replied.
"Oh, I'm so sorry... I didn't realize."
"That's all right, she said.
"Well, I hope you don't mind my asking but why didn't you bring a frend or a relative with you?"
"I would have... but they're all at the wake."
