If you right-click the px to check 'properties' you will see the px title Marine%20WS%20Sqn%20172.jpg -- which somehow perverted my naming it Marine WS Sqn172. jpg [Marine Wing Support Squadron 172] -- USMC photo by LCpl. Andrew C. Fellows; it's from the OUR ALLIES IN-ARMS section of our TogetherWeServed US Air Force Newsletter.I'm not sure if it has it's own technical name, but I have heard that it's still called a cougar, and is simply a 4x4 variant of the 6x6 we had(actually I think it's an RG Scout, but it looks like a mini cougar)
However, to clarify your suspicions, here is part of an additional write-up on the page, along with the UK (RAF) spellings:
"The first customised Cougar 4x4 vehicles arrived recently at RAF Brize Norton, a month ahead of schedule, where the process of turning them into the new Ridgback protected vehicle will begin... Once fully uparmoured and weaponised the Ridgback will join its bigger brother, the Mastiff, as the new protected vehicle on operations... As a smaller version of the Cougar 6x6 vehicle which underpins Mastiff, the Cougar 4x4 was the natural choice to become the Ridgback protected vehicle."
