This cannot be, I gave some money to a man in Nigeria and I now own the moon and am waiting for the $43 million to arrive in my bank account ;D ;D ;D

You can't own a celestial object. Not even humans own the Earth since we still fall at natural catastrophes and can't even gather 1% of the total energy available on this planet....

You can't own a celestial object. Not even humans own the Earth since we still fall at natural catastrophes and can't even gather 1% of the total energy available on this planet....

Sorry to burst NASA's bubble but as any equipment left behind is no longer functioning, thus has been abandoned. It is therefor junk (Historically significant, but junk nonetheless). As such anyone with the wherewithal to get to it can help themselves to any souvenirs that take their fancy, and there aint a thing NASA can do to stop them :P

Having said that, fat chance anyone is going to be walking in Armstrong's footsteps any time soon.

This doesn't apply to shipwrecks under the sea. So you could collect artifacts off the moon but they are legally still Nasa property as soon as you re-enter Earths atmosphere.

1% and we've already ruined the earth, It's more than enough ;D. Give a toddler a bag of his favourite sweets, give him one to eat and tell him to leave the rest and enjoy the show ;D ;D ;D

This reminds me of the time that the US government declared ownership of all .com/.net domains ::)


Ah no, that's where the common knowledge is wrong: We are not ruining the Earth, we are ruining ourselves. The Earth is damn well capable of reestablishing the balance without humans messing around.

We are but fleas on Mother Natures back. When she has had enough, she WILL scratch us off  :(
