I'm sure youtube has some educational videos on the subject.
I think the most important advice we can give you to is to start off low and slow in a single engine prop aircraft. Practice the basics first, and then work your way up. Go through Brett Henderson's flight training series. Trust us, we've been doing this for years, and we know what we're talking about.
And another thing, don't be afraid to ask any questions. There are a few of us who have nothing better to do with our spare time than to sit at the computer, refreshing the forum homepage reading the newest posts
