Not so, dear Mr. Fosbery; we measure the distance we walk with feet, the distance we fly or drive with miles -- and we don't always know when we'll meet 'er. We do, though, usually have meters on our dash, no matter how fast it's moving -- or if it isn't....and note that distance is measured in "Metres", not Meters.......!

I would suggest that it's the same difference between American and BBC English.By the way whoever created this poll....Brazilian is not a language...in Brazil they speak Portuguese
