I haven't used them in many, many years and I'm beyond rusty, but I use to be able to speak-

American English (still reasonably good at this  ;) )
German - rusty
Japanese - extremely rusty, but Bonzonie seemed to think I was tolerable
Vietnamese - extremely rusty

Not so, dear Mr. Fosbery; we measure the distance we walk with feet, the distance we fly or drive with miles -- and we don't always know when we'll meet 'er. We do, though, usually have meters on our dash, no matter how fast it's moving -- or if it isn't.

By the way whoever created this poll....Brazilian is not a language...in Brazil they speak Portuguese

I would suggest that it's the same difference between American and BBC English.
