That tri-motor is an example of a plane that's so ugly it looks good, IMHO...

It's a pervical EP9. Not the ugliest thing in the sky, but sure isn't the prettiest either.

I'd say it was distinguished looking rather than ugly. Rather practical too... :)

As for the Phalcon, it is a bit harsh to call it ugly. The aeroplane didn't ask to have the ugly growth installed...
