Here is what we had for supper as we eat light during the evening...no snacking either.

Boiled seal meat, boiled red potatoes (not sweet potatoes) with garlic butter, boiled onions, chopped cucumber in sour cream, sliced tomato and glass of cold buttermilk with salt, pepper and worcester sauce stirred in and several slices of dark rye bread with cold butter.

For tomorrow morning I have marinating...chicken wings with salt and ground black pepper and in the refrigerator for overnight.
I will then brown them and in the same frying pan, add about a cup of water or broth, several stalks of celery about 5 inches long (not chopped), 6 or 7 green onions whole (not chopped), several slices of red or green pepper then cover and simmer for three or four hours.

Hi Jono:

I like poached eggs on toast at least once a week. :)

What the old girl does is just prior to lifting them from the poacher...sprinkle some grated cheese on them and cover ...just for a couple of seconds.

Very good with marmalade and Imperial Cheese (thats the orange cheese in a tub from England and very very good)

Cheers...Happy Landings...Doug
