I used to commute to school by train which happened to pass Shoreham Airport. If I'd spotted something interesting on the way home I would immediately hop on my bike & rush over there to investigate. A couple of the more unusual types I remember were the Zaunkonig (G-ALUA), a rare parasol wing German light aircraft & the Hurel Dubois HD32 with its high apect-ratio wing.

Unfortunately I can't find a photo of the Zaunkonig. To my credit I remember recognising it immediately I saw it. I was always a bit of an anorak where aircraft are concerned.
