Contact Points - SOLVED

Postby patchz » Wed Feb 09, 2011 4:48 pm

The default EH101 is listing to starboard and it appears that the right hydraulic is compressed more than the left. But I can't figure out what to change to fix it. Can anyone point (no pun intended) me in the right direction?

If God intended aircraft engines to have horizontally opposed engines, Pratt and Whitney would have made them that way.

Looks to me like a leaky seal. Add a little fluid till you can get it replaced.  (no pun intended)  ;D

No wind, joystick unplugged, same result after rotor stops.

Check that you haven't inadvertently change the weight/balance distribution in the payload/fuel dialog..

Already did, everything is balanced.

Odd thing...

Your tyres are further into the ground than Hagars and the nose wheel tyres are well into the ground yet the suspension looks unloaded. :-?

Is it just at that site or is it like that wherever you land?? :-/

Is your rotor disk level??

:-[

I was attempting to add 'floats' to it. I had first made some changes in that section without results and 'assumed' it was not related to that. I finally removed the floats section and that fixed it. I put the float section back and started from the beginning and finally found the correct entry to modify. Just have to a little fine tuning now.

Thanks - it's always good to share that stuff.  You have no idea how many times reading a snippet like that has helped me avoid a problem ....
