That's what inspired me .. simple text file to read/write from.
If we were actual programmers, this would be laughably easy, I'm sure.
If we could call up COBOL routines, I'd be done already..lol
Ok, then I think it's just time that I took a programming course.

The problem is, the last time I did ANY kind of programming, it was on a TRS-80.

I'm so far behind the times on computer language, I don't even know where to begin.
I know this idea
is the solution, so it all boils down to figuring out how to get the gauge to take that Time_accumulated value into account
before it loads the rest of it's values.
It wouldn't even have to store any additional data, it would only have to read what is in that file, and then apply a set of predetermined 'wear' conditions for that value.
Rawr! It's so frustrating being so 'computer illiterate' sometimes.
