FSX fails in the crosswind simulation. To me, the crosswinds are much more different in real life than in the sim.
That's the point I was making, you can't get full realism on this type of sim cause you can't feel the pressure of the wind on the aircraft. Wouldn't it be great if a small scale sim was built that was like the one they use to train real pilots, but than again the cost would most likely be more than the cost of real lessons. But you got to admit, it's still tricky to land with a heavy crosswind. I guess what the eyes see, they feel. It sure would be great to fly the Jenny by the "seat of my pants" as they say. But for now I'm happy!

Can someone who uses a force-feed joystick tell how it is using one, I'm trying to track one down.
