Hi, I flew the Denali base mission last night for the first time. Still have a lot of missions that I have not flown. Anyway, I was just wondering about climbing to high alttitudes with a short distance to your destination as in the second part of the mission, climbing to 15000 ft in the maule. Took me a while to get there. In real world or simming is it better to fly away from your destination at one heading for half of the altitude that you need to achieve and then turning back so you can fly in a straight line or is it just the same to fly a large circle while gaining the altitude that you need. Seems like I had to nurse it quite alot to get to that fl. Not really important just curious.
Thoroughly enjoyed the mission, almost slid off of the mountain when I landed, lol.
Thanks,
