), there is a difference between a wet surface and a soaking wet surface. A damp surface will relect some light but won't produce a regonisable 'reflection' as such but a soaking surface will give a reasonable reflection. Simple.





While it might be a nice gimmick I would prefer to see runways that are not dead flat. Landing down a considerable gradient at some airfields I know can be very challenging.
