Ok I'm back at 1233/616. I've also bumped the Vcore to 1.425.
What about video card settings?
Wow....just wow...
Before I was getting 8 - 9 FPS on takeoff, now I'm getting 12.
Also my stutters are gone while panning around in spot view now.
OK now you see, its not about GHz its about getting the memory bus to talk to the CPU
Continue to fly and see if the system crashes
If it does, set the memory as I showed above... but drop the memory voltage to 1.9v instead of 2.0. If it crashes, raise the voltage back to 2.0
Next we will start working the memory timings by raising them and try to get you up to 333 on the memory, 1333 on the FSB and then we will tweak the memory timing until the system becomes unstable... at that point we will have you're sweet-spot located and its just a matter of trial and error.
After that is complete we will then re-trim the sim settings. Please do not change them right now
Last will be the video card

I have not touched the sim sliders other than air traffic earlier this afternoon with miltest's suggestions: GA 20, Jets 30.
I've done my share of over-clocking but this was a lot of fun. I've also learned a lot about this sim & how resource dependent it is. I have not touched my video settings yet and I will wait for your go on that.
So far no crashes. I have the sim paused as I'm typing this. I will continue flying for another 10 mins or so before I hit the sack.
Thank you for taking your spending your Sunday on me today. Same goes to you Mil. (where's that damn thumbs up icon?...) lol

Please drop the memory voltage to 1.9v tonight, even if you do not fly a test flight. 2.0 is the max although 2.1 can be pushed and I would prefer that stay as low as possible and still run stable.
Tomarrow fly again on 1.9v and see if its stable and if so, we will go from there

I will do that now right after I log. I'll let you know how stable it is tomorrow night when I get home from work.
Take care and thanks again.
