Even though all my FS 2004 Scenery Sliders are "maxed out", I still restrict my "Weather visibility" to between 3, 5 and 10 miles maximum, which makes objects become clearer as I get closer to them, as they will do in real life...especially when flying at low altitude....

When you are up in the air, the scenery below you is often obscured by dust, mist, smoke, fog, etc...and this makes the scenery "pop up" as you get closer...

You cannot see the eyes of the Sheep grazing on the hill 10 miles away from you!...most times you will be lucky to see the Sheep!....

Reducing your "sight distance" makes the experience more realistic.... [smiley=thumbsup.gif]...
