Airport Problems

Postby a1 » Sun Jun 03, 2007 8:15 am

I asked this a while ago about how many airports has the tarmac and all of the asphalt taxiways a bit off. Some areas the taxiways don't even reach the runway and i am left with a yellow line to the runway. I don't thnink i have installed any scenery that would affect this.

Please help in restoring my airports.

Thanks :)

Very odd, it might of been something you installed or it could be a setting.

There are some default airports where things don't line up or connect properly. This can most often be fixed by editing the airport in Afcad.

You don't say what airports, all or a few....default airports or addons. Is this something that started recently, or has it always been a problem?

A screen shot or 2, and/or identifying the airport(s) and problem taxiways might help narrow down the cause.

Do things just not match up or are there areas missing? Have you installed/removed any scenery that included airport environment .bmp's (runway*.bmp or taxi*.bmp)?

At that time [1909] the chief engineer was almost always the chief test pilot as well. That had the fortunate result of eliminating poor engineering early in aviation.
