I never said ONLY consoles, I was kinda just pondering the idea.
Look, I know what you mean, but I have the sensation you're not getting my point of view, no offence meant.
Nothing I can say or do would deter M$ to make a version of FS for a whatever consolle they want. At the same time nothing M$ can say or do will ever convince me to buy it and the hardware needed to make it run.
I don't know about your PC, you never stated your configuration, but mine isn't really that new or fast, a Athlon XP 2400 overclocked to 2600 thanks to the fact it's one of the few Athlon Xp shipped with its multiplier unlocked, 1Gb Ram and videocard Fx5700le 128Mb, is nowhere near the fastest rig around nowadays, but FS runs fine on mine. It actually ran fine enough even on my old configuration of Athlon Xp 1700 512Mb, even if obviously worse than it does now.
And FS Rarely if ever goes under 15fps (expecially since I've bought ASV) and it never really gives me problems.
On the other hand your supposition about physics not being compromised is very weak. Consolles are used mainly by kids who want to plug the consolle and begin to play...
Now try to imagine a kid like that trying to fly a -- I don't say much -- default 747.

So if M$ wants to sell the hypothetical X-box FS, has to dumb it down.
Dumb it down? A simulator? A simulator that of its own has enough problems without wanting to add to it?
Thanks, but no thanks. I'll remain with the PC version.
