You're modest, jknight- that's amazing to me. But maybe the A300 will sink more rapidly than I'd imagine (haven't flown it). The problem I had with the Lear, being new to it, is that it's damn slippery, and won't sink without considerable forward speed. And it likes to stall near 100kts, so trying to "mush" more doesn't help. I'd like to know if SEMA is really like that, and what kinds of aircraft actually use Rwy 19 there. I'd imagine that building atop the hill has been rebuilt a number of times!!
Thanx for the tip about targeting, but I already knew that one, having got my PPSEL a while back. If you've never heard of it, and want even more insight, check out "Stick and Rudder" by Wolfgang Langewiesche. His explanations of how it all works were way superior, IMHO, to those provided by the FAA's study material. But of course I presume to teach the master...
