I agree with JBAYMORE something has changed . You could try restoring the textures off the disks. The only problem is which ones to restore. It might be a easier task to just uninstall & reinstall FS2004.
If you decide to do this before you proceed I suggest you do the following
If you have added any scenery or planes move the entire addon scerery folder & the entire aircraft folder & gauge folder to a different folder of your choice but out of the fs9 folder.
Then move your scenery cfg file to the same folder
If you have made any changes to the effects or the main sound folders than move those as well.
After you uninstall fs2004 delete the entire folder
Make sure you delet the FS2004 cfg file also.
Then reinstall fs2004 than before you start it up move the other folder s back to fs2004 and over write
Then start up fs2004 and that should take care of the problem.
