Review of Flight gear
Visuals:
The scenery and visual models look ok and they appear to be decent looking. There are runway and taxi lights as well as some form of autogen. AI aircraft is already included and the loading process doesn't take that much. Surprisingly, with all the AI, light effects, and scenery maxed out with 1280x800 resolution, the frame rates are awsome.
However, the frames are murdered if you apply the detailed clouds.
The key assignments will take a long while to get use to because I still can't figure out which key to press to release the brakes [if any].
Speaking of scenery, there are not that many airports in the scenery. The list is completely short.
My joystick seems to work very well in the sim.
All in all, as a suggestion, don't critisize the sim. FG is still young and, like a little kid in preschool, can still grow in the years to come. I have never flown the models in real life, so I can't tell weather the models act realistically or not [that's probably the job of the pros - Ozzy?

]. All I can say is the sim feels more like a sim and less like a game.
