I ran into to the same problem with mine. I actually had to take out the DREADED... Instruction Manual AND READ IT :-?

:-/ It actually tells you step by step instructions of how to fire up FS9/Settings/Controllers...Blah, Blah, Blah... friggin' instruction manuals ::) I know, but in Saitek's case, it really was worth while reading it and setting it up "by the numbers" was quite easy. They work great in my opinion, but not being a plug and go item like the CHP's that I wore out, did cause me to get a little warm under the collar. Alright, alright, so I may have growled and cussed and salivated a little bit (not a lot, just a little bit ;) )and theatened to take a sledge hammer and smash the friggin' thing into million little pieces, but in the end, reading and following the instruction manual seemed to have worked out just as well ;) Semper Fi, Dave
