yeah, I got FSX Deluxe Edition for Christmas last year. When I installed just the demo version on my computer, the computer practically had a seizure even on the lowest possible graphics. I then tried it on my brother's lap top. His computer was far more advanced than mine. Still, on minimal graphics it was laggy at best. I then moved up to my dad's computer which was newer than mine or my brothers. It ran but it was still on the slow side with minimal graphics. In a last ditch effort to make this game work I tried it on my mom's computer which was supposedly designed for high intensity graphics. It ran smoothly but only on the lowest possible graphics. Is there any computer availble to the public today that can run this game with reasonable graphics and without lag? I'd be surprised if it were possible.
well, the problem is that theres no way its ever gonna rn on my current lap top because its hardware bound. Thats why when I get a new computer I'm gonna make sure that its not a laptop so that I can upgrade the hardware inside. I kinda wish I hadn't gotten rid of my copy of FS9. That game ran perfectly on my computer. But the day I got FSX, I uninstalled FS9 and sold the disk. Not the brightest thing I've ever done.
I could probably find a cracked version of FS2004 on the internet. I've always been a little cheap.

A brand new copy of FS2004 is about $20 these days if you are in the USA.
i agree with jon..
i bought my current fs9 for 15 pound in gamestation after my disk was unfortunatelly scratched..=(
but 15 quid is not a bad price for an honest simmer like myself and thousand of others..
