Bjorn put me right on this one..apparently it is right...
It is half the speed that some of the manufacturers quote....so your 1600 is correct reading at 800...for some reason!......!
(Something to do with two operations per cycle).
DON'T OVERCLOCK it up to 1600!!!!

Thanks for that, i though it was strange that it was reading under 800 8-)
At least I haven't tried to OC to 1600Mhz, I'm pretty sure that would have killed my PSU

If you are not seeing this corruption in other games and 3Dmark runs fine then I have go with a corruption of some type in the FS9 install or possibly elements of Dx9 that FS9 uses, but given 3Dmark runs without issue, I would have to place a Dx9 issue on the low chart.
Is this a clean FS9 install with no add-ons?
Look at the disk and make sure its not scratched up
do you recall if the video card takes 1 or 2 power inputs?
If its only one, you may be borderline on that 12v rail
