Are you using the Windows zip utility?
Is your AV scanning the file as its unpacking?
That is odd that it is taking that long to unzip so maybe try another zip utility. I like IZArc
http://www.izarc.org/
I really like this utility, its easy to use and works with all type files not only zips.
Katahu set to unhide SYSTEM files open any folder better if is empty,Better create one new folder I hope not it will show a zip icon Transparent tmp.zip with a secondary file as desktop.ini If IF they show up ,youre in trouble thats a virus and nothing can clean or wipe out It kill slowly by days all zip files after a week began with al mpeg mp3 avi it will kill everything exep the name of what is use to be.....I really hope not...not only youll have to format your hdd (By slow) you have to seach cds or disquettes ,pen drives wach where is resident...I really hope not Just set your system as I said and create a folder in the desk open and see inside if two files(Hide By Hiden System) shows esponaniusly your trouble
The good news is that I see nothing [nada, zip, zilch], even when the operating system files have been allowed to showing up completely in the tools > folder option > View menu.
.
WinZIP sucks because it can't open RAR and ACE files.
BTW a small amount of people that use Winzip actually registered it. You can use it over 30 days, you just get a nag screen.
