I had prepared a post that I think now you would not have appreciated, congo, but I've spared it. I agree with you that Simviation is not the place for politics of any kind. My origainal question about George Bush dealing with video cards or whatever it was about was rhetorical. It was the illustration of absurdity by being absurd. I know GWB doesn't fool around with video cards. The question was posed as sarcasm, more or less. The media and everyone who seems to hate him just because he is protecting America from attackers (his job under our Constitution) seems to want to blame him for anything and everything.
The latest is gasoline prices. The President has nothing to do with gas prices. Gas prices are set by the market. But it seems that if the media can come up with a silly poll about the President and what's he doing or not doing about gas prices, they will trumpet it as if it were the Word of God. I'm tired of the drive-by media shooting their mouths off about something, creating a lot of confusion in the process, then leaving the scene of the crime, escaping any responsibility for what they've done.
I'm tired of this discussion. The question was rhetorical, a jab at Bush-haters and the media. It didn't require an answer of any sort.
I ask for technical help because I know very little about the workings of computers. You young guys grew up with them; you are far more literate and familiar with them than I am. I very much appreciate the answers supplied to my newbie questions. I have no one to ask where I live. I have always thought that those who knew computers were happy to impart knowledge to those who don't. That's been my experience.
