Windows XP64 or Vista is not going to be responsible for 64 bit computing and it is just another application.
Sorry... Windows x64 and Vista are NOT just another application.
As for the game system items, everyone has their opinion and everyone is welcome to ring in.
Quote from MS:
The initial target audience for Windows XP Professional x64 Edition is anyone who is running into performance and memory limits on their 32-bit systems, for example, developers, media artists, CAD/CAM, scientific workstations and enthusiasts who are running the most demanding applications, and who require the capabilities of the Professional Edition of Windows XP. Windows XP Home Edition is targeted at the home user and has fewer features.
...sounds to me like the OS is not just another application. It unlocks the entire 64 bit system.
Sorry about the multiple posts, It's just that these are all such different themes.
