You must live in a different country to me Paul.

Hello Doug!
Come to Sunny Herefordshire, for peace, tranquillity, and ultimate tidiness!.......!

I did try a Yamaha 550 once, and decided that the seating position defies all semblance of comfort and safety. However, that's my humble opinion. I have since looked at and tried aSuzuki Burgman and a Honda Silverwing as alternatives and been pleasantly surprised. These large wheeled super scooters have both power and comfort, just a pity they are so big, like 500lb, even. Maybe, one day soon, maybe.

I must be stone blind, because it still looks ultra clean to me.If that was Australia
the roadsides would be littered with tons of broken beer bottles. Not to mention other crap.
I think Australian cities and towns are for the most part, cess pits.![]()
I was watching some videos the other day and European cities are
so much cleaner.A trip down the west coast of Ireland and no trash
in sight.![]()
Anthin.
Keep up the videos Fozzer.![]()

Hello Log...!
You will remember our Rifleman, Ken, and his wife Wendy, both Sim V members from way back, from Vancouver, BC!
Ken rides a Suzuki Bandit, and Wendy loves riding her Suzuki Burgman (scooter), big and comfortable!
(Ken has posted some photos in this Forum thread showing both bikes, etc!).
That "scooter" makes a lot of sense in all sorts of ways: Comfort, weather protection, luggage carrying capacity, etc....!
It may not look cool....but its probably very sensible!
Paul.......!

...I can only assume that Harley Davidson Cruiser riders must be blessed with very fat arses...unlike me!

I'll tell you what, Tug........
The seat and conventional riding position on my Yamaha RX-S 100, 2-stroke, is much more comfortable than the seat and riding position on my Honda "Cruiser"...!
One of the reasons why I went for a "Cruiser" motorcycle, as an alternative to all my previous "Standard" motorcycles, is due to observing Bikers travelling vast distances on their Harley Davidson Street Glides, Road Glides, etc, in "apparent" comfort!
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Types_of_motorcycles
...Big Mistake!...
I am crippled by the uncomfortable solo cruiser seat putting all my weight on the bottom of my spine, causing constant pain and numbness,....
....and the forward foot-pegs preventing me from taking my weight on my legs and feet, as is the case with centre mounted foot-pegs.
The high, hangar/ape handlebars drain the blood from my arms and hands, and constantly grappling for the forward mounted Gear-change and Foot Brake levers, drives me mad!
I love the look of my Cruiser with all its shiny chrome, but unless I fork-out £80+ for an inflatable Air Hawk-type seat cover, I wont be travelling anywhere far!
There are times when a "BMW type" Sport-Touring type of motorcycle makes more sense for long distance travel!
...the problem for me, (5ft-7ins) they are seated too high for a secure footing.
For a sensible riding position, my naked, 1994 Honda CB500RR twin, and naked, classic 1983 Yamaha RX-S 100, 2-stroke single, bikes, make much more sense regarding travelling comfort!
Harley Davidson/Indian, etc, Cruisers are a way of life, and one must be prepared to suffer the consequences when it comes to riding comfort!........!
...sorry Tug!........
...!
Paul...developing serious back-ache!.......!
...otherwise, I love my Honda Cruiser!........!
