Seen one guy have three accidents in one minute - backed out of his spot into the brick wall behind him, then forward into the car in the space beside his, then back again into the block-heater stand. A classic 3-point turn. Oy. My personal record is viewing 12 accidents inside a 2-hour period; all at the same intersection. OK, it was 30 below and the street was slick as a curling rink but one hint here: it you know there's ice on the road; don't hit the gas a hundred meters from a yellow light trying to make it. More T-bones than a steakhouse there; drivers in this city seem to think that if you stop for a yellow light, the light 'wins'. The broken cars were lined up along the side of the intersection; never seen such smiles on the tow-truck drivers like I did that day.
