My specs... A hard drive, motherboard, graphics card, some memory, a keyboard, mouse, and monitor - in other words, nothing special.

Great shots, Rob 8-)

Is the new Goshawk package an improvement over the old one, and in what way/s please?

I haven't downloaded it, but I've seen from the changelog that Dino just removed redundant or excess files for a reduced footprint.

According to the Readme,
VERSION 2.21
- Removed unnecessary duplicate files for reduced footprint
VERSION 2.20
- Changed external model canopy glass reflection to get rid of separate DX9/DX10 models. The new glass material (textured) looks OK in both modes.
- Fixed texture folder cfg for texture aliasing
- Added all the repaints from Jiri Soukup (which include the outstanding Centennial Of Naval Aviation schemes that were missing from the original package)
- Minor fixes to virtual cockpit (mainly misalignment of some switches)
- Improved HUD symbol generator modeling (should look slightly better now)
- Redone all thumbnails for visual consistency in FSX menu
- Fixed launch bar retraction animation sequence
- Fixed UVW mapping texture in tailhook pivot area

That's quite the aircraft. Enjoy it every time I take it up. Wonderful screens, especially the 3rd one. :)

Thanks for the info guys.......I have V2.0, so if there are no significant changes I think I'll save myself the hassle of a DL and installation ;)

It's a pretty easy install Chuck, but I see your point. You are also correct, Dino hasn't reinvented the wheel with this new version, but he's improving one of the best freeware out there, hands down!
