Not trying to be a know-it-all WWII buff, but planes were shipped from theater to theater. It could very well be that a plane that participated in the D-Day attacks was sent to say, Leyte Gulf a few months later. "Hitch Hiker" (that particular FS model) I'm not so sure about. It did happen, however.

LOL ok fellas no need to argue over who's a know-it all and such. Just comment on the pic. No need to debate over who's right or not.  ;)

I never said you were. In fact I wasn't even referencing your post. Okay, maybe a little. That's besides the point though. I was simply adding a bit of accuracy to the shot.

No need to debate over who's right or not.  ;)

I'm right. Obviously. ;) ;D

Actually to you all; i know the guy in the cockpit, i recognize him because he has an eagle tattoo on his neck, and that guy died Feb 3 1944... now the other pilot in the corsair, thats a friend of mine and he didnt enter active duty till march 1944... So this shot is completely wrong all together and you should be put in jail for it.

;D
Ok bad joke, good shot though, is it CFS or FS?
