The invasion stripes on that b-25 was used exclusivly in eujrope and the corsair was a pacific fighter
That ruins it for me on an otherwise stunning shot![]()

Not trying to be a know-it-all WWII buff, but planes were shipped from theater to theater. It could very well be that a plane that participated in the D-Day attacks was sent to say, Leyte Gulf a few months later. "Hitch Hiker" (that particular FS model) I'm not so sure about. It did happen, however.
