The next trainer I'm testing : the Atlas Impala MkI.

Taking off from Hoedespruit AB in South Afrika.  It's not exactly good flying weather : lots of clouds, lots of wind, lots of lightning, lots of rain .....  and lots of fun




Coming up above the clouds, things look much better up here.




Now its time to "fly her brains out" (many thanks to Zapp Brannigan for this lovely quote )

She is handling just fine

Not the easiest landing, but all went well




They should put a shelter here, everything's getting wet inside

Actually the Atlas Impala is a license-built Aermacchi mb326, built by South Africa.  They used it as a jet-aviation trainer and formation aerobatics aircraft.
