Nice!  As for your question, it depends on altitude.  at low altitudes, KIAS is around 950 give or take. Up at say, 45,000 it's more like 250 or so.

Haha, nice shoots.

And yes, Mach speeds depend on air pressure I believe....I'm no expert though. It basically will be a lower knot speed at higher atitude but you'll be moving extremely quick. 8)

Guys, mach number is a factor of temperature  ;)
As temp decreases the speed of sound decreases as well.

But an accepted value at 15C at groundlevel is 661,7 kts...generally speaking  ;D

Can FS2004 even model breaking the sound barrier (except for in the Altitude Concorde...I haven't tried the French freeware one yet...)

I think fs2004 has modelled the sound barrier because I have the freeware effects off the sound barrier(vapour and boom) on my military jets and it happens at different speeds depending on the conditions. For the physics behind the sound barrier I'll let Isaac Newton explain http://www.mathpages.com/home/kmath109/kmath109.htm

Where are these freeware effects of the sound barrier (I should like to have them...)

A link if it please ya?
