So out of Heathrow in the snow

Climbing to altitude when my ASI went on the fritz, nothing serious...

Seconds before disaster struck and engines 1 and 2 shutdown and wouldn't restart. The DC was yawing everywhere over Holland and I decided to declare an emergency

Cloud base at 3000 feet, and I had to come in under it, and ATC had done their usual pants job of getting me lined up with the runway

Turning on final and juggling all the controls to try and maintain sufficient steerage for an emergency landing :-X

Kissing the tarmac (just) :-X

Tyres screaming I come to a halt and shutdown and await the emergency services to evacuate the passengers and crew... when I get back to London some mechanic is going to experience a monkey-wrench to the back of the head

Remember to practice emergency landings and dead-sticks, you never know when it might save your life
