It's been nice fishing in Anchorage. Time to get to Juneau to do some kayaking....

The Gulf of Alaska goes sliding by...You know, when I'm fishing down there, I want to be flying. And when I'm flying I wish I was fishing!!

I guess the ultimate destination is somewhere in Mexico. Got to get down there to do some tropical fishing. Enough salmon already!!
I found out on this first leg that my little Citation seems to have a range of just under 600 miles before running out of gas. I think Anchorage to Juneau was in the low 500NM range and I dropped in with less than 10% fuel left.
Also, does anyone else fly withan Atlas on hand to see where they're going. This is the first time I have used one and it adds to flight because you feel a little more like you're there.

Be sure to stop by at KNUW  (or 76S) ;). I also use an atlas but only to find landmarks. (Such as Old Faithful Geyser in Yellowstone Ntl. Park)  8) ;D

I generally go online for maps (as well as for tips to landmarks here)

FlyFlyFlyAway,

That's a freeware Cessna Citation downloaeded from Simviation. I'm not home so I can't give you the author or a link until later. Check back. I love this jet.

KNUW? I'll see if I can get permission for a touch-and-go from Uncle Sam!
