I flew this earlier and tweaked the settings...I think the drop in frame rate has to do with the weather...still tweaking the cloud coverage for a good trade off!

Awesome shots, they look great.

You want to know something sad, I have lived in Eugene, Oregon my entire life and have never made the trip to see Crater Lake (in real life, I have made the FS flight many times).  I need to do that this summer.

Hi guys,

Jordonj, when I maxed out the settings for the plane I had a slight drop in frame rates, but when I maxed out the scenery settings the rates dropped below ten at times. I do not have the fastest  system.

RichieB16; I have visited crater lake several times and found it to be worth the trip. Although a difficult trip, a winter visit is fantastic!

Clear skies,

A lake with a remote island in it. Why don't you pack your girlfriend/wife,supplies and a tent into a Beaver and spend a romantic weekend on it? ;) ;D

Another thing, I tried adding skins, but when I did, the new skin was the only choice...Is that how it works ???

And while we're on the subject, how do you switch radios on this one....

And turn on and off the Avionics?

Great shots! I've passed by through the Crater Lake area but have never seen it in real life. I see it all the time though in FS because you fly right over it when flying from KSEA to KSFO  ;D
