Back to my roots

Postby RollerBall » Tue Jun 22, 2004 4:10 pm

Not had much time for simming at all lately so when I do get the chance, I often like to get right back to my roots with a classic light twin. Two of my favourites are the Seneca and the 310 and I've searched high and low for freeware models but they're very thin on the ground for both types.

This is the Seneca I'm using which is an old model so it lacks all the mod cons like a vc, opening doors, visible lights and stuff. But it flies well and has tidied up quite nicely with a spruced up paint job and a new (fictional) UK registration.

These shots are from a dusk-time flight from London City to Teesside.

Nicely leaned off and prop pitch set for a steady cruise at the max of 200 KIAS at 12000 ft

Twins have come and gone since this lady was a girl but I doubt her classic lines will ever be bettered.

Amazing that that slim frame can accommodate 7 pax in comfort.

All lined up for another RollerBall greaser at Teesside. How does he do it  ;)

I like my old Seneca but if anyone knows of a newer model, I'd like to hear about it.

Lovely stuff Roger, I'll have a look around for a new model for you tomorrow, but now I'm off to Bedfordshire ;)
