Rescue in Rio

Postby ozzy72 » Sat Jun 19, 2004 6:40 am

Well there I was enjoying a nice cup of tea in my office at Rio Grande (SBRG), when a call came in that I was to get anti-venom for a snake bite to Sao Lourenco Do Sul (SSRU), the pick-up of the anit-venom was to be at Pelotes Intl. (SBPK), so I leapt into my Super Cub and headed north...
Red lining the engine!

Pick-up the meds at SBPK, a puff of smoke means my Lycoming is spinning again...

Yanking it onto a bearing of 060...

Nice view, pity I haven't got time to admire it!

Brazil looks so nice and peaceful from up here...

Down safe and sound, I think I'll have a cup of tea and a gentle flight home :)

Hi Air, well its easy, just do an insert image, then press return to go to the next line and insert image, then press return to go to the next line and insert image etc etc ;D
But please remember no more than 500k or 8 pictures to a thread ;)

Ozzy (now flying over the Brazilian jungle in search of another adventure ;D)
