Well I nipped off to Peru this evening, could I find Macchu Picchu... no!!!!!!!!!
I know where it is (in the real world) and I decided to use my ultimate aerial recon. bird...

The Firefox rocks, but after two hours of quartering the area I still hadn't found this most famous of ruins :(
Anyone know where it is in the FS world (which of course has little to do with reality!) :)

Mark, are those afterburner effects the default ones? - Love the Mig-31, love the shots too - It's the first plane I downloaded for FS9 when I got my new copy last week.

Yup those are the default ones I think. There was a patch that came out for the Firefox a while back, it might have had new burner effects in it. Its available here at SimV that is for sure ;)

I don't know if this helps but the rough co-ordinates are : S*10.00, W*76.00
or try : S*13.07, W*72.34

Hope these help a little.

;) :D ;D :)

Nice shots as usual OZZY

..and see, that's wat I'm usually talking, M$ never worried abut South America's landscapes ::) :(, the reason I've decided to make an European for the 1st time is simply this: I was looking for those awesome landmarks and awesome airports in Europe and  think I'll find the same at US....on the other hand, poor scenery for entire South America, made me a lil  jealous and at same time mad about M$....
So, I ask U if U find Machu Pichu, plz post some pics for us ok?

just in time, wonderful a/c !!!

I've been searching it myself, but never found it...  :(

Still, i think there was a Fs2002 add-on that placed it on the map.

Strange plane to search a tourist atrraction though ...  ;D
